YOUNG workers are surfing the Internet for more than an hour a day at work - a practice that some estimate is costing the economy over E700million a year.

A survey shows that workers between 18 and 34 are logging on in their droves and whiling away their day on social sites such as Bebo, Facebook, and MySpace.
