Energy-saving bulbs are now designed for all bayonet and screw light fittings and The Energy Saving Trust has found that the majority of consumers are unable to tell the difference between the light of an energy-efficient and an incandescent lamp. In addition, halogen bulbs are still available and are also more efficient than traditional incandescent lights, providing ample consumer choice.
