MAMMA mia! A whole host of raven-haired Latin lovelies were out in D4 earlier this week for the annual Italian Society black-tie ball, so naturally the style-stakes were sky-high for Italiani and non-natives alike.

Arriving at the Four Seasons in Ballsbridge on Monday night was ambassador Dr Alessandro Pinto, Ireland's assistant football manager Marco Tardelli and MC for the evening, DJ Gareth O'Callaghan. Virginia Macari was eye-catching in a full-length sequence number, while boutique owner Maria Fusco wore a stunning gold gown with a purple overlace. Lorraine Keane, pictured left with husband Peter Devlin, dazzled in a short black dress with silver detail.
