HAVING turned 16, I find it insulting that the media persists in promoting the image of teenage girls as Cheryl Cole wannabes (Mail).
There are girls who are interested in fame and the lifestyle that comes from it, but when I think of my friends, I've never heard any of them utter ambitions of celebrity.
