FRANK McGARVEY experienced his best and worst weekend as a Celtic player after scoring the winner against Dundee United in the 1985 Cup Final.

Despite his Hampden heroics, the 29-year-old striker was on his way out of the club two days later. He had been expecting a pay rise but was told instead he would be behind Mo Johnston and Brian McClair in the following season's pecking order.
