RORY McILROY is set to announce that he will be taking a full American playing card next year. After two weeks examining the US Tour's 2010 schedule, the 20-year-old rising star of world golf has decided he can join the elite group of players like Padraig Harrington chasing the money lists on both sides of the Atlantic. McIlroy will not make an official announcement until the eve of the Dubai World Championship, 14 days before the December 1 deadline to hand in his US entry.
