MIDDLESBROUGH secured their place in the knockout stage of the UEFA Cup by holding last season's semi- finalists, AZ Alkmaar, to a 0-0 draw last night. Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink was booked on his return to his old club, but Boro held out for a point. AZ can also still qualify.
