I'M TIRED of people such as William McLaughlin and my fellow Scots complaining about problems using Scottish notes in England.

What does he expect? Most people don't see these every day and notes do vary from bank to bank. If Mr McLaughlin wants to try something really difficult he should take banknotes from one of the Ulster banks allowed to issue them and see how many of those he can pass over the counters in Biggar.
