Summary

TONY MOWBRAY'S former players were last night queuing up for the chance to join his Celtic revolution as talks continued to finalise the manager's appointment at Parkhead. Chief executive Peter Lawwell will conduct detailed negotiations over the next few days to conclude the capture of Mowbray, assistant Mark Venus and first- team coach Peter Grant after a compensation package in the region of Pounds 2million was agreed with West Bromwich Albion on Saturday. The esteem in which Mowbray is held by those under his command became clear yesterday, as the agents of Marc-Antoine Fortune and Borja Valero insisted their clients would be very keen in following him from the Hawthorns to Parkhead.

West Brom left-back Paul Robinson expressed similar thoughts over the weekend, while Hibs forward Steven Fletcher has spoken of his admiration for his former Easter Road boss.
