THE world's most advanced destroyer was handed over to the Royal Navy at a ceremony on the Clyde yesterday.

Staff from BVT Surface Fleet marched off Daring, which will be the first of the Royal Navy's series of six Type 45 Destroyers to enter service, and were replaced by the ship's Royal Navy crew at a ceremony at the Scotstoun shipyard.
