THE RUMBLE STRIPS: Welcome To The Walk Alone (Island) WITH Mark Ronson now in the producer's chair, Devon's Rumble Strips have beefed up their brassy sound with sumptuous strings and galloping percussion. They have also added Scott Walker-ish touches on ballads such as Douglas, an overly sentimental song about frontman Charlie Waller's dog.
