FORGET your 50s being the best decade for a woman - what about the backache and the arthritis? They creep up on you and I hate the fact that I can no longer leap to my feet as I used to.My knees and my back ache if I have to sit still or stand for any length of time, and if I have to stand up suddenly, I hobble for a few strides.
