SAD new for fans of still fragrant newscaster Anna Ford. The 62- year-old BBC presenter - who retires from the Autocue next month - has resisted blandishments from publishers to write her memoirs. On her brief romance with Channel 4's Jon Snow, her marriage to the late cartoonist and Tatler editor Mark Boxer, her love-affair with Apollo astronaut David Scott who walked on the Moon in 1971, and her dramatic drenching with wine of her then TV-am boss Jonathan Aitken, Anna has decided to remain mute.
