THE whining excuses trotted out by Tory MP Derek Conway yesterday for why he paid his sons from public funds for allegedly bogus research work were as predictable as they were pathetic.
'MPs deserve more money anyway ... the boys did a bit of work ... no intention to deceive, just administrative shortcomings ... many other MPs do similar things.' A complaint has been made to the police by the Liberal Democrats and should be acted upon. At least, Mr Conway should be interviewed under caution, about his own shortcomings, and these other MPs he claims are guilty of similar infractions.See the full content of this document
