Summary
DEA BIRKETT has obviously never been to Hamilton Island: comparing it with Pitcairn (Mail) is pointless. I haven't been to Pitcairn, but have spent two wonderful holidays on Hamilton, in 2005 and 2007.
It is everything Ben Southall is hoping for -- peaceful and tranquil, with white sandy beaches and easy access to the Barrier Reef, where we have spent days snorkelling. There is a beautiful hotel and many garden lodges, bars, cafes, restaurants, shops -- even a thriving nightlife if you want it, but far enough from the accommodation not to disturb you if you do not.See the full content of this document
