THIS place is no ordinary casino. It's simply vast. The game floor alone, which measures 52,000 square metres and is thought to be the biggest in the world, is large enough to host 870 blackjack and roulette tables as well as more than 3,400 slot machines.

And there's still plenty of room left over for a replica of St Mark's Square in Venice, the gleaming white marble facade of the Doge's Palace, the Campanile of St Mark's and, oh yes, a few canals complete with gondolas bobbing up and down.
