WE USE nuclear power to produce about 20 per cent of our energy needs yet, interestingly, the French use it for about 76 per cent of theirs.

My brother worked on the building and commissioning of Trawsfynydd and Wylfa nuclear stations, and I followed the complicated construction of both with great interest.
