Summary
DROGHEDAS stricken captain Declan OBrien begins his rehab today from knee surgery as his teammates resume their challenge for the Premier Division title at home to UCD. The striker has not kicked a ball since the Setanta Cup final in May, but as Paul Doolins men play out their final 10 games in the league, OBrien, pictured, will be working hard to get back to full fitness.
With only seven league games under his belt, its unclear if he will be eligible for a medal as the quota is 11 but theres no doubt hell be part of the celebrations if Drogs win the title. The boys have done great and Paul is just trying to keep their focus for every game, said OBrien. Its far from won at the minute, but we are in a really good position. UCDs position is getting more precarious by the week, and Pete Mahons men need to stop the rot.See the full content of this document
