DETECTIVES in Paris have begun carrying out house-to-house searches to try and establish where Irish businessman John Kennelly claimed to have been held captive almost two months.

They have mapped out a 'crime zone' of properties within a two-mile circumference of the police station where the 47- year-old appeared a week ago.
