CHRIS CUSITER is set to team up with Scotland colleague Nathan Hines at Perpignan next season. It emerged yesterday that the cashladen Basque outfit are ready to land the Lions scrumhalf from under the noses of rivals Stade Francais, who were keen to secure the services of one of the most sought-after talents in European rugby.

Cusiter, 24, has been seeking a move abroad since the SRU announced last month that the Border Reivers would be axed at the end of the season.
