Police Are Strangers to Us Now

A lawyer for the man who was shot, Abul Kahar, says he was given no warning by armed police before being shot.

Another story - perhaps leaked by the police - suggests he was shot accidentally after his brother tried to grab an officer's gun.

Both stories can't be true as they stand. The Independent Police Complaints Commission is investigating.
