A Portrait of the Young Artists& ; with 30,000 Entries This Year, the 54-Year-Old Texaco Children's Art Competition Is Still the Biggest and Best for Our Budding Picassos

The painting was praised by the judging panel for its 'vibrant characteristics' and 'dynamic brush-strokes'.

The overall top prize in 2007 went to Cillian Boyd, a student at Gaelcholaiste An Chlair, in Ennis.
