AS A sub-postmaster in rural Wales, my husband and I were obliged to buy another business in the village to make ends meet, as the powers that be had reduced the hours we could open our post office.
We'd like to move the post office into our village store to make life easier for us and the villagers, but we're reluctant to move it yet, as it will cost up to 11,000 and we have no guarantee that they won't close it down anyway.
