THE boss of battered investment bank Citigroup took a staggering Pounds 7.8m in pay last year.
The revelation comes just weeks after the bank was forced to go cap in hand to the Government for Pounds 32bn to prevent its collapse. Official filings in New York show Vikram Pandit took a cool Pounds 5.4m joining bonus in 2008 as well as a Pounds 700,000 salary and Pounds 1.14m in stock options.See the full content of this document
