IS IT a bird? Is it a plane? No, it is a bird on a plane. I'm zooming high above the Cotswolds in a Vivienne Westwood skirt. Nothing unusual there, you may think, except for a few details - I am outside the aeroplane, strapped to its wing, screaming my head off, my skirt wrapped round my legs.

Let me say at this point that as a career option this is never likely to get off the ground.
