CORK CITY boss Damien Richardson has defended the club's supporters after they received a 'severe warning' from the FAI's Disciplinary Commission following incidents in their game against St Patrick's Athletic at Turner's Cross on May 3.

The warning comes as a result of chants aimed at Saints' keeper Barry Ryan, relating to a drugs ban served earlier in his career.
