THE Cork County Board could be faced with a county-wide revolt on March 10. Although the board convenes tonight, their scheduled meeting in two weeks' time could finally provide an endgame to the most bitter and divisive dispute in the history of the GAA.

Over the next fortnight, it is likely that more than 100 clubs within the county will hold EGMs in which they will mandate their delegates to vote on either backing or sacking Gerald McCarthy as county hurling manager.
