OPPONENTS of the state grant scheme to inter-county players are to put their faith in the GAAs Disputes Resolution Authority sabotaging the awards scheme. A case is being taken by a group of grassroots dissidents, including Tyrone man Mark Conway and Donal McAnallen, brother of the late Tyrone captain, Cormac.

The group will argue that the grants are in contravention of the GAAs Rule 11, which governs the associations amateur status.
