THOUSANDS of holidaymakers are being left out of pocket by their travel insurers because they haven't advised them of the health of people they have left at home.

Insurers claim they need to know the health of everyone you are travelling with and, crucially, the health of anyone who could affect your travel arrangements, such as parents, children and business partners. If you don't tell them and keep them updated, you will see your claim turned down.
