The six-time champion jockey has his best chance of opening his account on favourite High Standing in today's Pounds 275,000 Betfred Sprint Cup at Haydock but the closest he came to the winner's enclosure after three years absence from British racing came when debutante Arte Viva was a length second to Eolith at Kempton last night.
