A DEFIANT Mahmoud Ahmadinejad denied his election victory was the result of fraud yesterday on another day of clashes in the Iranian capital, Tehran.

Despite the worst violence seen in the country for 30 years during the weekend following his re-election as Iran's president, Mr Ahmadinejad said the result was 'real and free'.
