JONATHAN Ross is refusing to bow to pressure for a public apology for his part in the obscene phone calls scandal.

The Pounds 6million-a-year presenter is coming to the end of a three-month BBC suspension, but despite calls from corporation bosses that he tone down his language, it will be 'business as usual' when he returns to host his Friday night chatshow this week.
