AN Oxford University rowing club was yesterday accused by a coroner of a 'conspiracy' to cover up the circumstances surrounding a student's death to preserve its reputation.

Senior members of the university's Lightweight Rowing Club failed to tell investigators the head coach was drunk on the morning that Leo Blockley drowned, an inquest heard.
