DECLAN GANLEY is back. And that is just what this desperate Government and their Yes-to-Lisbon lobbyists don't want. The first thing the Government will try to do, of course, is to ignore him.

In this, they are already being helped by RTE. With Lisbon, the broadcaster is acting exactly like what it is: a State-owned monopoly which is entirely dependent on the goodwill of the Government to sustain the unearned millions it gets through the licence -fee.
