DURHAM, the county champions, wrapped up a crushing win over Hampshire inside three days at Chester-le-Street. England's Graham Onions finished with six for 58 as Hampshire were all out for only 96 in their second innings. Onions' efforts handed Durham victory by an innings and 110 runs, the hosts' 311 always looking ominous after Hampshire were skittled for 105 in their first innings.
Yorkshire made good headway against Sussex at Headingley, bowling the visitors out for 217 and then reaching 152 for two. Ed Joyce's unbeaten 100 was the highlight of Sussex's first innings, which was eight short of Yorkshire's 225.See the full content of this document
