THE last British forces in Iraq have been forced to leave hurriedly after the Iraqi parliament failed to support a deal for them to stay.

Around 150 Royal Navy personnel helping to train Iraq's fledgling navy were ordered to cross the border into Kuwait this week to avoid a diplomatic incident because their legal right to stay expires tomorrow night.
