ACCORDING to the poet Philip Larkin, sexual intercourse began in 1963, 'between the Chatterley ban and the Beatles' first LP'. So by the time Caryl Churchill's 1979 comedy came along it was well established. But almost 30 years on again, Churchill's contrast of Victorian and Seventies sexuality seems as unremarkable as an Ann Summers shop or a Channel Four sex show.
