NEWCASTLE UNITED captain Alan Shearer has suffered a fresh injury setback and could be out for a further two weeks with a calf injury.
The club's medical staff are still assessing the full extent of the problem, but the striker is definitely out of today's game against Birmingham and is unlikely to be risked for Monday's trip to West Bromwich Albion or the FA Cup third-round tie away to Yeading next weekend.
