IT'S hardly news to tell you that the Aussies are simply not buying into this International Rules concept, but the level of ambivalence towards it is quite staggering. It's not scientific polling but in the ten days spent in this country this column has yet to meet a solitary AFL fan who feels strongly enough about this game to go and watch it.
The GAA and AFL, with some justification let it be said, had every right to proclaim the opening Test in Perth an unqualified success.
