WHILE serving with the RAF, all aircrew were categorised on their capabilities and medical health every year to make sure you were fit for your job. Now GPs are to be assessed ? which is no bad thing. They should subject all Chief Constables around the country to a similar inspection. It's the Government that needs to be assessed on its ability to deliver policies. But if that happened we wouldn't have a Government, would we?
