RANGERS captain Barry Ferguson believes no team should ever endure the 'crazy' schedule inflicted on the Ibrox side this season - - and has urged the SPL and SFA to hammer out a flexible solution to future fixture problems.

Ferguson was backed by French striker Jean-Claude Darcheville, who said that both the league flag and the UEFA Cup had been lost because of administrators' inability to give Rangers a less exhausting match list.
