Summary
IN 1995, I invested in a Commercial Union Classic Investment Bond and opted to take regular income. Very belatedly, I've discovered that the application form gave the incorrect - by one digit - Alliance Leicester bank account number to which the income should be sent. So far Pounds 6,706.40 has gone into someone else's account.
I have been trying since late 2003 to rectify this through my lawyer, who has charged me more than Pounds 300, and the Ombudsman.See the full content of this document
