ROY SMALLWOOD knows all about Cup success so he will be hoping to lift the gloom at Abrakebabra Tralee Tigers when they clash with Ulster Elks in the National Superleague Cup tomorrow night. American Smallwood drove the Tigers to glory in 2005 and last weekend returned to the side, showing signs of some of his old magic. With their Nivea Superleague title defence now in tatters, the Tigers will hope they can go one better than last year by landing the trophy once more.

Equally, the Elks, who stage the clash at the University of Ulster in Jordanstown, have had an awful start and are without a single victory. Both sides know this match will decide their season. The Tigers, while fragile, have been boosted by the return of GAA star Kieran Donaghy though Sean Carroll is out with a knee injury.
