I'M FAST approaching 60 and I have no intention of giving up fun pursuits. I adore Alton Towers and rollercoaster rides are my passion. I go storm-chasing in the U.S. with my husband, who is also nearly 60.

I am going to enjoy life for as long as I am able and I will indulge in the pursuits that the young enjoy. And why not? I have two grandchildren and I play with them. The elder loves to see Grandma doing high kicks, dancing round lamposts and doing somersaults with him.
