WOOLWORTHS boss Trevor Bish Jones has admitted he could split the business in two in a bid to unlock value for investors - but it's unlikely they will be named after promotional puppets, Worth and Wooly, pictured.

This would involve separating Woolies' profitable entertainment division, which supplies music, DVDs and books to retailers, from its lossmaking High Street stores. Panmure Gordon analyst Christian Koefoed Nielsen reckons Woolies' entertainment business would be worth 550m.
