I READ about the young family man diagnosed with cancer (Mail), and I was appalled at the way he was treated.
I consider myself very lucky in my treatment. With no previous symptoms, I was sent home from work one afternoon feeling unwell. My husband called our GP because I had a pain in my left side and back, and as a result, I was sent to hospital that night.
