A STORMING second half at Parnell Park eased Dublin champions Ballyboden St Endas to a surprise spot in the Leinster club hurling semi-finals.

Marked out as rank underdogs beforehand, the south Dublin turned a five point half time deficit into a five-point win. There was a major degree of luck about David Sweeneys crucial 51st minute goal for Boden, though, as Oulart keeper Gary OLeary allowed a tame shot past him. Soon after, Oulart and county star, Darren Stamp, saw red for striking sub Simon Lambert with his hurl following a fine score from the Dublin man.
