ONE WEEK in spring 2002 Mark Kendal, from London, was a highly paid barrister, appearing in a criminal trial at the Old Bailey. The next week he was a shop assistant operating a till.
Mark, 30, who gave up his legal career to follow his dream of being a retail buyer, says: 'I got home after that first day ready to go straight back into law - but within a week I was hooked.'
