QUESTION My grandfather used to tell me about a British World War I tank, improbably named Musical Box. He called it 'the tank that won the war'.

What made him think this? THE World War I Whippet tank (technically a Tank Medium Mark A) was designed to assist infantry and cavalry in breaking out of breaches in the Germans' trench lines created by the frontal assaults of heavier lozenge-shaped Mark IV and Mark V tanks.
