CHELSEA expect to have captain John Terry and goalkeeper Petr Cech back in action before the end of January.

England skipper Terry had keyhole surgery in France yesterday on a back injury which has been troubling him since before the World Cup. The initial assessment is that the operation was a success and that the problem should not recur. If his rehabilitation goes to plan, he could be ready to return at Liverpool in three weeks.
